The X-Supreme 8000 is a Bench Top Energy Disperse XRF which performs with the latest Hitachi High-Tech powerful
Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) and high reliability OXFORD X-ray tube. These technologies guarantee precise multi-element
analysis at concentrations ranging from high percentage down to ppm levels of detection, covering elements from Na11 to
U92 in the periodic table. It also got a 10 position sample carousel for unattended operation, and an integrated industrial
grade embedded PC for storage of results. Simultaneous single or multi-element analysis with ‘Live Updates’ – results
obtained 5 seconds after measurement starts, allowing a rapid assessment to be made. Results obtained using empirical
calibrations for highest accuracy and traceability. Optional Standardless (Fundamental Parameter) Analysis where no or
very few standards are available.
Performance and flexibility
The X-Supreme 8000 makes it easy to get reliable, repeatable results by combining application-optimised hardware with
software that is simple but powerful. To take a measurement, the operator simply prepares the sample, loads it into the
auto sampler and presses the start key. Results are displayed on-screen, including pass/fail messages and instructions on
how to handle a sample that is out of specification. For added flexibility the X-Supreme 8000 allows advanced users to
